ACT & preACT Testing

As we look ahead to the preACT and ACT, please encourage your students to do their very best on these important tests. Not only do these scores provide students and families with key information on their strengths and areas for growth across content areas and skills, they are also used as part of our course recommendation process. Additionally, teachers refer to these data points to provide individualized and group-level academic support in the subsequent school year. See below for specifics on testing setup, scores and resources.

  • Wednesday, April 15, 2026 is the School-day ACT with Writing for Juniors (Illinois graduation requirement). Students will be automatically registered at no additional cost. This is a non-attendance day for all freshmen, sophomores and seniors.
