Homecoming Parade: 10am (Main St. and Crescent Blvd.)
GW Alumni Tours: 11am and 12pm (Enter at Door #1 on Circle Drive)
Distinguished Alumni Ceremony: 11:30am (Elliott Library)
Varsity Football game – Hitters vs. Hinsdale Central at 1:30pm (Duchon Field)
Homecoming Dance: 7-10pm (Biester and Fieldhouse)

In an effort to improve the safety and security of our Homecoming festivities, Glenbard West and the Glen Ellyn Police Department have collaborated to modify our Homecoming Parade route this year. To this end, we are moving the start of our parade from Elm and Main to Hawthorne and Lenox. You can find the full parade route below.
Lenox Road between Hawthorne and Linden will serve as our parade staging area from 9:00 to 10:15 AM on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026. Parking restrictions on Lenox will go into effect overnight on October 2nd. Vehicular access to and from this block of Lenox will be limited but not closed during the parade staging window.
Road closures and detours throughout the Homecoming Parade route will be managed by the Glen Ellyn Police Department. If you have any traffic-related questions, please contact Glenbard West’s School Resource Office, Mr. Brad Booton, at 630-942-7463.
Homecoming weekend is a busy and exciting time on our campus, and we recognize that it has a spillover effect on our neighbors. We intend to be conscientious of our shared space and will do our best to minimize any inconvenience that may occur.
