Instructions for Students Transferring to Glenbard West from Outside District 87

If your student is transferring to Glenbard West from a school outside of District 87, please follow these steps:

For students currently attending another Glenbard school (East, North, South):
Contact the Enrollment Coordinator for assistance. 

• For students currently attending any other school: Pre-Registration for New Students
• Once we have received their pre-registration, we will contact you by email with the next steps. You must provide us with a working email address. 

Instructions for Incoming Freshman Coming from a Private School, Homeschool, or Middle School Outside the Glenbard District

• If your child is moving on from Hadley or Glenside, we should already have their student information in our database. There’s no need to submit additional details.

• If your student does not already attend Hadley or Glenside, please proceed with the next step: Pre-Registration for the Incoming Class of 2030 

Work Permit Requirements

To apply for a work permit, you’ll need the following:

1. Academic Requirements: Passing all classes
2. Documents:
   • Birth Certificate (we should have this on file)
   • Current Physical Exam (within one year of application)
   • Letter of Intent from Employer (an offer letter including work hours, duties, and manager contact information)
   • Signed application by a parent or guardian
   • Social Security Card
