Summer Reading at Glenbard West Summer reading for students enrolled in regular AND honors level classes is an opportunity for students to read a book that they might not have otherwise chosen.  At Glenbard West we require all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to read at least one book over the summer.  Students enrolled in English 4AP are expected to read the required text and select an additional text from the summer reading list.  Be sure to read your book(s) by the first day of school, August 25, 2010.   In addition to reading, be sure to bring your completed assignment and book to class on the first day of school.  Your teachers will collect your work and put you in groups according to what you read - be prepared to discuss your book with other students.   Enjoy the summer and happy reading!
