SUPERFANS: The next home football game is this Saturday, 9/16 against York. The theme will be U.S.A. Come support Hitter Nation. Sophomores at 11:15, Varsity at 1:30 on Duchon Field. Hope to see you all in your red, white, and blue!

CHESS: Are you "board?" Do you feel like a pawn in the game of life? Then check this out mates. The first Chess Club meeting will be on Tuesday, September 19, right after school in the library. We will meet every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday after that through January. All are welcome.

THEATRE CLUB: It's never too late to join Theatre Club! Come to today's Theatre Club meeting after school in the Auditorium balcony. We will discuss this weekend's football concessions and ways to get involved in Footloose the Musical. Also, tell your parents about tonight's Theatre Parent Night at 7pm.

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD: Interested in science and engineering? Science Olympiad meets Tuesday's after school in room SC306. We are looking for new members. Come join us!

STRIVE : Need help with your homework? Come to STRIVE that meets in the back of the library every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday beginning 9/12 from 2:50 to 3:45. It's a great way to get teacher support and get your work done! See you there!!

STUDENT COUNCIL: Student Council: Nominations for Homecoming court are taking place this week during all lunch periods outside the cafeteria and in Biester foyer.

WOODCHUCKS: The West tradition continues. Who wants to be a Woodchuck? They build our Bonfire for the Homecoming Pep Rally. Apply to be a Woodchuck now. Submissions should be super creative! Applications are in Student Services, West Student Conference and Schoology. Deadline is Sept 22nd.
